Implants

The dental implant is a titanium post that is placed in an area of the jaw where there is a missing tooth or teeth. The Implant then heals in the jaw and then a dental crown is placed on top of it. The dental implant is essentially a tooth replacement.  The implant does not require anchorage by other good teeth like a bridge.  It is incorporated in the bone.  You can floss it brush it and best of all chew with confidence! Implants can also support a denture. Many insurance companies cover dental implants. Dr. Sabbagh can verify your insurance coverage for this state of the art technology.  Learn more about dental implants.

Tooth Extractions

Dr. Sabbagh performs tooth extractions in order to prepare the gums for dentures and implant supported dentures. Dr. Sabbagh works closely with the patients dentist to obtain the best treatment plan and denture design for the patients comfort. Dr. Sabbagh also performs many extractions which are required before orthodontic treatment.

Wisdom Tooth Removal / Extractions

Often our third molars (wisdom teeth) come into the mouth in a crooked fashion causing pain and infection. The infection from such malaligned teeth can actually be potentially life threatening. Early removal can ward off more complicated situations later on. Dr. Sabbagh can perform the wisdom teeth extractions under IV anesthesia for maximum comfort.

Anesthesia

Dr. Sabbagh offers IV anesthesia for patients who need it. At the consultation, Dr. Sabbagh will evaluate the patient taking into account their medical history and personal needs and together with you will decide the appropriate technique for you.  Dr. Sabbagh is a Diplomat and Fellow of the American Board of Dental Anesthesiology.

Bone Graft

A bone graft is a procedure that builds up an area of the jaw by placing bone material in a defect. Over months the patient's natural bone grows in the area and replaces the grafted bone.  The result is an area of the jaw that will provide a solid base for the stability of an implant or denture or simply to provide a better cosmetic appearance.

Facial Trauma

Dr. Sabbagh is fully trained in the repair of facial trauma both soft tissue (lacerations of the face and/or mouth) and fractures (broken jaws). Hopefully you will not need these services but in the event that you do, she is on call both day and night to help you.

Gum Grafting

Oftentimes a dentist will address that there is receding of your gums on one or more of your teeth. If this is left ignored it can be quite painful and eventually jeopardize the tooth. Often this can be repaired or prevented from getting worse by a gum graft. Dr. Sabbagh can repair this defect under the comfort of IV anesthesia if you choose. Many insurances cover gum grafting.  Our financial coordinator will be glad to work with your insurance to verify coverage.

Oral Pathology

Dr. Sabbagh has received extensive training in the evaluation and diagnosis as well as the removal of oral lesions. Dr. Sabbagh will work closely with you and your physician regarding your diagnosis and follow up care
